Tickets To This Weekend’s Fundraiser Selling Fast

Tickets to Sunday’s Yogathon Fundraiser for survivors of Nepal’s 2015 earthquake start at $30 with a 30% discount for groups of 3 or more. If you are passionate about promoting World Peace and love yoga,  the fundraiser is a wonderful opportunity to combine both.

Various yoga styles including Ashtanga Yoga will be taught at the event throughout the day in hourly intervals.  Senior Teacher Vishal from our Centre will teach the Ashtanga Yoga component.

Vishal will teach Ashtanga alongside others teaching Pranayama & Meditation, Yin Yoga, Slow Flow Vinyasa, Dynamic Hatha, Kundalini Yoga, Power Vinyasa & Yoga Nidra.

The Yogathon is a fundraiser follow up to last year’s fundraising for survivors of Nepal’s devastating earthquake in April 2015, in which over 8,000 people died and 21,000 were injured.

100% of profits from the Yogathon will go to rebuilding Nepal after last year’s 2015 earthquake and to ending the vicious cycle of sex slavery which ensued shortly after the quake, when sex-worker traffickers flooded into Nepal to recruit vulnerable girls who had lost families and homes.

Simultaneous yogathons will happen in other parts of the country including Sydney, Byron Bay, Newcastle and the Sunshine Coast.

Melbourne’s event on Sunday 22 May will be in the CBD from 9am at:

Drill Hall, Multicultural Hub
506 Elizabeth Street
Entry Via Thierry St
Melbourne CBD, Victoria 3000

Tickets start at $30 and there is a 30% discount on groups of over 3 people. The promo code is YOGATHON108.
